TECHNOLOGY KILLS HUMAN

Assalamualaikum everyone,

Todays topic, years by years, technology become more popular among people. Users willing to spend lot of money to get the technology. What are we looking, watching and listening on tv or radio advertisment, technology make people life easier, but did we aware of disadvantage of using technology? 

 

           Today, our world is getting quieter than it used to be. As a student and as a passenger of public transport, I now barely see people smiling, talking or making eye contact at school and in public places. I realize why people rarely communicate with others now, and this kind of big issue is caused by a tiny thing that we all carry in our pockets every single day like smartphone. The excessive use of mobile internet devices is killing humanity by destroying the meaningfulness of communication and human interaction. As we know, the production of gadgets like Smartphones, Ipad, Ipod are  increasing tramendously year by year and the usage of the internet is getting esier as we have the Wi-Fi connection in almost any area. This could probably result into people having the lack of social communicationand thinking skill in life. Even though it is said that the internet as a technology wonder, I dare say that the internet use has a negative influence on the individual.

        According to ReadWrite.com, multiple studies have proven that boredom boosts creativity and imaginative thinking. In a recent BBC article, Dr. Teresa Belton, a senior researcher at the University of East Anglia's School of Education and Lifelong Learning, said that children who spend too much of their time in front of a screen can actually lose the ability to be creative. Most parents hate hearing their children say they're bored, but apparently, it should be music to our ears sometimes. If the modern technology nowdays exist thousand years before, I think there will no artist like Leonardo Da Vinci. Moreover, parents need to have more control on their children activity towards technology using.

         Last but not least, technology makes people become good in theory, but bad in practical. Just imagine, we can find anything in internet. Anything that you need to know, is at your fingertip. But did you realize that being know and being experience is totally different things. Nowdays, by using Google Street View, you can go anywhere you want to. But you only can see but not feel. With the existing of technology, people tend to know everything but never experience, then form group of people call ‘Keyboard Warrior’. This group of people tend to act like they know everything and spreading news without knowing the truth. This leads to wrong information spreading among society.

          

          Indeed, in life, there are good and bad things. Technology makes life easier, but don’t forget the disadvantages. Getting too dependent to technology, makes life become too easy which leads to the less productivity of humanity.
