SCHOOL BASED ASSESSMENT

Assessment is a process to get details and proceed with judgment and consideration of the product of the learning process. Assessment of the educational context is one episode in the learning process that includes activities elaborates, collecting, recording, scoring and interpreting information about student learning for a particular purpose. Assessment is a process to get an overview of the performance of a study in a subject or learning activities. To achieve this assessment in schools should emphasize the concept of continuous assessment of the development of all aspects. PBS is more formative of prioritizing the progress of each student from one stage to stage. This provides an opportunity for teachers to correct students' mistakes and correct weaknesses immediately so that these weaknesses are not collected. In addition, teachers can identify weaknesses and develop the strengths and potential students. There are two types of evaluation in the school of formative assessment and summative assessment. Assessment can be seen via the diagnosis, performance, selection and placement counseling.

First assessment via diagnosis, diagnosis carried out by the teacher in the classroom will be able to provide feedback to teachers about students' knowledge and skills that have been taught. In addition, this assessment may also provide feedback on issues facing students in learning. With it, teachers can identify the progress of a student, whether at a very satisfactory, satisfactory, moderate, weak or no any progress at all. Teachers also have to decide whether to change teaching strategies, so it is more appropriate to the needs of students or revision using the same strategy and so on. Evaluations carried out over a period of teaching and learning will show the progress of students in a certain time. Tracking student progress on an ongoing basis will provide feedback to teachers about the problems facing students. If students have a problem, the teacher will investigate the cause of the problem. The information will be used by teachers to change their teaching approach or provide special training so that problems faced by students can be overcome. Without special assistance, the students will continue to have a problem and that they will continue to fall behind in learning.

A further assessment of the achievements, accomplishments conducted at the end of instruction and learning can provide information about the level of student mastery of knowledge, skills and attitudes to be conveyed teachers. In addition, the evaluation conducted at the end of the period of study; for example at the end of Year 6 (UPSR), Form 3 (PMR) and Form 5 (SPM); is intended to determine the grade of the student's overall achievement. Evaluation at this stage more formal patterned with the eventual goal to give certificates to students. The results of this assessment will indicate the academic achievement of students in a given grade, such as the excellent, mediocre or failed. The school will be able to determine the overall ability of a student based on achievement shown in the examination taken for further action, such as the selection and placement.

Lastly is based on selection and placement, valuation is important before starting teaching and learning because teachers need to review the extent of his students master basic knowledge and skills to the title you want to learn. For example, an English teacher who will teach students not native speakers of English, need to know what knowledge and skills they have mastered, such as grammar, vocabulary and so on. This information is important for teachers to make decisions in determining the appropriate level to start teaching. In addition, teachers can choose the student to be classified in a group based on their level of proficiency. If they differ mastery, teachers need to put them under control of each stage and the next plan and carry out teaching in accordance with their needs, which vary it. In this situation, the purpose of the evaluation is to select and place students according to their knowledge and skills mastery. In addition to teaching session began, the purpose of the assessment is also to select and place students according to a particular genre. For example, the results of students who excel in science enables placed in science or in respect of the likelihood of a student.

In conclusion, among its advantages, assessment through to diagnosis, performance, selection and placement this does not compare the performance of a student by another student but reports student performance in learning and to highlight the progress and growth of the students in learning based on the standard statement. Thus, students will be assessed in a fair and equitable as individuals in society based on ability, ability, talent, skills and potential without comparison to others. In fact, the school is also able to obtain a complete response in the form of qualitative and quantitative data that covers all aspects of a pupil's self to enable those responsible to identify, understand, appreciate, recognize and honor the students as valuable human, material and has the potential to contribute to national development and nation by the capacity and capability of each. In addition, the Standard Performance can also be used as a yardstick of the state educational standards and as a tool for comparing with other national education standard.

An important national heritage treasures that have been inherited from generation to generation like A-Famosa, National Monument, Wuhu station building and Stadium Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur. Nevertheless, the present generation is increasingly looked deserted them against it because the level of awareness is too low. Actually, they should realize that this national heritage needs to be preserved because it has a thousand and one meanings behind it.

Among the importance of preserving the national heritage is becoming a tourist attraction, whether domestic or international tourists. Retention of residual materials colonists had to draw the hearts of tourists to see for themselves the unique creations of previous society. This scenario can be proved by the increasing number of tourists in the city's heritage such as Georgetown, Malacca and Kota Bahru is very significant in the period 1990 to 1997. This means that the national heritage is one of the main causes of the tourism industry is so robust at the same time contribute to the improvement of the national economy.

National heritage as well as to foster the spirit of patriotism in the current generation. This spirit will be born by itself when the younger generation can feel the spirit of struggle heroes to defend the country in which his beloved homeland. The names of the fighters who were killed there recorded at the National Monument to the gaze of all. Thus, young people will not be like beans forget the contributions they will always remember the contributions and sacrifices of fighters to defend the country. Therefore, the preservation of national heritage is very important to create a generation of patriotic and love for the homeland. In addition, the art and aesthetics are also able to be maintained. Old buildings such as the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station has a high artistic value and not on the buildings now. Its architecture is unique and beautiful and reflects the taste of the architect at the time. Therefore, these old buildings may be a source of inspiration for new architects to build buildings that are not only beautiful but also has artistic value was amazing.

More importantly, preserving the country's heritage is important to remember the history that happened in our country. Old building given a new lease of nostalgia can restore the true meaning to all. For example, the Merdeka Stadium has been a silent witness to the country's independence. The cry for independence led by Tunku Abd. Rahman Putra Al-Haj on August 31, 1957 took place in this stadium. If the building is not likely reared young generation will forget the histories of national importance.

Finally, the Malaysian Society Must Be Sensitive Maintenance Importance of National Heritage . Therefore , all efforts should be intensified to ensure that the State Treasury is not bad in the rain , enduring the hot deck . It can be said that the maintenance and preservation of this heritage can enhance the image and identity of the country on the world stage .

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION SHAPES CHILDREN PERSONALITY

Early childhood is a stage in human development. We are in the mother's womb for 9 months 10 days . Early childhood is usually defined as the period from age two to age six or seven years. Brain growth followed by an increase in cognitive abilities. Around age five, children begin to talk properly and master their hand to eye coordination. It is optimal that the environment provided favorable physical development and allows children to explore and try new things. Physical development of children is by design. Build big muscles before small muscles, the large muscles used for walking and running and other physical activities, known as gross motor skills. Small muscles used for fine motor skills such as taking an object, writing, drawing, throwing and catching.

This includes children understanding a sense of 'self', relationships with others and sociability. The emotional development includes expressions, attachment and personality. Children manifest fear of dark and monsters and around the age of three notice whether they are a boy or a girl and start acting that way. Boys are usually more aggressive, whilst girls are more caring. However, aggression is manifested in two different ways: boys are more physically aggressive, while the girls are more socially aggressive (name-calling and ignoring). In this stage the individual differences become more prominent.

Between the ages of 2 and 3 years, children stopped using awkward , like wide -legged robot that is the establishment of a new pedestrian features . Because they develop a smoother gait , they also develop the ability to run , jump , and hop . Children of this age can take part in throwing and catching games with balls bigger. They can also push themselves around with their feet while sitting on the toy horse. Infants and toddlers experience life more holistically than any other age group social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical lessons are not learned separately by very young children. Adults who are most helpful to young children interact in ways that understand that the child is learning from the whole experience, not just that part of the experience to which the adult gives attention.

The information in the study occurred between birth and age three, for this man to develop faster and faster then they would at any other in their lives. Love, affection, encouragement and mental stimulation from parents or guardians of young children helped in the construction. At this time in life, the brain is growing rapidly and it is easier to get the information to be absorbed; the brain can almost double within a year. At this stage, children need essential nutrients and personal interaction for their brains to develop properly. Child's brain will grow and become more advanced in the early years. While adults play a big role in the early development of children, the most important way children develop interaction with other children. Children develop a close relationship with their children spend a great time with time. Closely with colleagues to develop strong social ties that can be transferred at a later date, even kids at a young age have the priority they want to interact with and form friendships with. Howes (1983) reshearch suggest that there are distinctive characteristics of friendship, for infants, children and children of pre-school age.

In conclusion, good quality assessment in early childhood education includes and values many perspectives. A key element of the socio-cultural approach to early childhood assessment is that the perspectives of children, their parents as well as the educators at their service, all contribute to children’s learning and development. This holistic approach to assessment informs the service’s programme, educators’ teaching practices, and supports positive learning outcomes for children.

MALAYSIAN CARS VS FOREIGN CARS

Malaysian cars vs foreign cars. Which one the best? For this entry I would like to talk about Malaysian cars and foreign cars. Mostly people in our country known as who are rich can buy luxuries cars while ordinary people who only can buy Malaysian cars. For me, this is about our income and how we need to manage. Furthermore, this should be for any people who wants to buy cars, better choose properly according to ability. We don’t need to compare with any people, this is because our income is not same. So I want to give opinion about Malaysian cars and foreign cars.

In my opinion, between both of this we can see advantages and disadvantages. This is also according to our income. People known that Malaysian cars is more cheap than foreign cars. But do not surprise, some of the cars also have expensive. This is what we need to see about our ability. Viva, Myvi are the famous cars in this country. This is because it more cheap than the other cars. Those cars also affordables to any people. for the latest cars that Perodua shows is axia. Perodua is most popular with cheap cars and save fuel. Viva, Myvi is well-known cars in the country as a malaysan cars. This is because it is cheaper than other cars and person in Malaysia can buy it. But, do not forget about Proton. Proton also many kinds of cars that they publish like Saga, Pesona, Suprima and many more. Malaysian cars also has produce to another county like England, Indonesian and so on. We don’t need to talk about foreign cars because Malaysian cars also can comparable towards foreign cars.

Other  than that, Malaysian cars also easy to find a sparepart component if anything will happen or breaks down. It also cheap for people that have low-income. Malaysian cars also have safety like foreign cars. For example, air bag, GPS and many more. it is not a reason for we doesn’t chose Malaysian cars. With affordable price, I think many of people in this country can buy. Nothing we need to doubt about Malaysian cars.

Moreover, for those who are rich. They can buys expensive and luxuries cars. Foreign cars also have their advantages and disadvantages. Example for foreign car is BMW, Mercedeez, Honda and many more. The price of foreign cars is expensive but in terms of quality and design are very satisfied and beautiful. For those who have high income can buys expensive cars.  for some of people they their own dream luxuries cars. so that, they need to work hard for get they wants. foreign cars also many advantages and  hardy. For disadvantages, foreign cars is expensive for our country. This is why we need to compare between our cars and foreign cars.

In my conclusion, the issue is the people of Malaysia should have the ability to buy a good car, comfortable, safe and quality on standard prices.  Besides that, we need to be proud for Malaysian. This is because they also can produce  our creativity. However, for foreign cars it depends on our ability. Many people can have a cars if they make it the best choice and have a lot of money that can survive your family.

A further highlight of Malaysia Malaysian society comprising various and you create a multicultural background that represents every community across Asia. In short, a viable tourism destination promotion is done in order to introduce an attractive destination in Malaysia is the catalyst for Malaysia to become a major tourist attraction because of the location not know it was love.

In conclusion malaysia very famous places of interesting and unique. Finally, if it is not broken bark, can consolation, if efforts are few and limited, how the desire to see tourism in our country and across the world will become real. In addition, the country's position is very strategic in Malaysia jugak Asian continent, and Malaysia has its own advantages and privileges of the various factors or aspects. We need to constantly maintain and preserve the natural beauty around the country.

GENETIC ENGINEERING

Genetic engineering is a powerful tool and potentially very dangerous. To change the order of DNA nucleotides that code for a complex structure of living organisms, can have the effect of seriously ill despite the potential benefits can be great.

Before advances in the application of genetics, gene therapy is unheard of and always inherited genetic defects, which hit generation. Today, genetic tests are widely available, such as prenatal chromosome karyotyping to examine genetic abnormalities. Genetic testing is also useful for families in which autosomal recessive disorder that is known to exist, is currently planning to have a child. In addition, genetic testing is available for those who may have inherited genetic disorders that only become apparent at a later date (eg Huntington's disease). Individual choice to decide whether a person prefers to know if they are exposed to a particular disease or more likely to die young. Knowing that your life may be short can inspire you to make the most of it while it can also cause severe depression.

Today`s advances in gene therapy make it possible to even remove a faulty gene and replace it with a functioning gene in cells lacking this function. Though these techniques are available, they are still in the experimental stages. Somatic cell therapy, for example, uses faulty genes to target the affected areas for genetic treatment. This technique is beneficial in the treatment of cancers and lung, blood and liver disorders. Since the treatment is localised, any unwanted effects of this are not passed on to the next generation. A more controversial technique is the genetic alteration of gametes which causes a permanent change for the organism as well as for subsequent generations. Of course if the gene is corrected without further negative effects, the genetic disorder has been successfully eliminated; but if a problem arises it could pass on.

These advances in genetic engineering make the possibility of "designer babies" a reality. When the choice to change every aspect of every characteristic of a child is available, who would refuse? Why have an average child, when it is possible to have one with perfect health, good looking, intelligent and matching every other desirable characteristic which parents could want? The benefits seem endless: the potential for a perfect society without physical imperfections, low intelligence nor undesirable personality traits. How far this could go, is unpredictable; theoretically humans could for example be made more efficient - requiring less food but able to work harder.

Another large problem with all types of genetic engineering is the interdependence of genes: while on the one hand one gene may code for several features, on the other hand many genes are frequently required to code for one characteristic. While chromosome mapping is useful, without test crossing with every possible variable characteristic of an organism, it cannot be known what the functions of each gene are. Hence when a gene is removed, what is known about the function of that gene may not be all it codes for. The removed gene may also have a part to play in other functions. Similarly, the inserted gene may have other functions that are not known about. Some of the effects of these unknown gene functions may be noticed immediately and possibly be rectifiable, while others without immediate effect may cause significant long term changes. Little is known about the long term effects and potential dangers which may be inherited before they are noticed. Such problems may be cumulative and become harder to stop through time as the spread of new genetic problems continues through generations.
